Privacy Notice

I have kept this website deliberately simple, so visiting it does not require handing over personal information.

1. This website

You can browse without introducing yourself

This website has no user accounts, contact form, newsletter, advertising or behavioural tracking. I do not use it to build visitor profiles or marketing lists.

As with most websites, the hosting service may create basic technical and security logs automatically. These can include details such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages and the time of a request.

2. Anonymous statistics

I count useful pages and important clicks, not people

This website uses GoatCounter to see which pages are useful, where visits broadly come from and whether people use the main links to Page Content Guard, Gumroad or Ko-fi. The results are used only to improve this website and its product information.

GoatCounter does not use analytics cookies, localStorage or persistent visitor identifiers. It does not store IP addresses or full User-Agent strings. It stores aggregate statistics such as page paths, referrers and named button-click events. Depending on the account settings, aggregate reports can also include broad country, browser, operating-system, language and screen-width information.

Harbour Atelier uses GoatCounter's aggregate mode and does not enable storage of individual pageviews. GoatCounter.com is operated in Ireland, with hosted data stored on servers in Finland and Germany.

If you prefer not to be counted, turn anonymous statistics off for this browser. GoatCounter will confirm the change. The same link can turn counting back on later.

Read GoatCounter's privacy information.

3. Page Content Guard

Your monitoring data stays with your WordPress site

Page Content Guard performs its checks inside your WordPress installation and stores its operational data in that site's database. It does not send monitor settings, page content or check results to Harbour Atelier.

PRO scheduling uses the site's own WordPress Cron configuration. Email summaries pass through the site's configured WordPress mail system to the recipients chosen by its administrator. They are not routed through a Harbour Atelier service.

The data and privacy documentation explains what FREE and PRO can store, how retention works and how to remove plugin data.

4. External services

WordPress.org, Gumroad and Ko-fi handle their own parts

WordPress.org handles FREE downloads and its public support forum. Gumroad handles PRO purchases, subscriptions, downloads and the customer Community. Ko-fi handles voluntary contributions made through the Donate page.

When you use one of these services, its own privacy notice applies. Harbour Atelier may see information you submit there when replying to a support request, dealing with a purchase, renewal, cancellation or refund, or reviewing a Ko-fi contribution.

Gumroad and Ko-fi may make customer, supporter or transaction information available to the account owner. I do not export it for separate storage, connect it to marketing tools or use it to build mailing lists. I look at it only when a purchase, contribution or customer-support issue requires it.

5. Private security reports

Send only what is needed to explain the issue

A suspected vulnerability should not be posted in a public forum. The private security address is used only to investigate and resolve security reports.

You do not need to provide your name, website address, login details or customer data. A technical description and an optional reply address are enough to start. Messages are kept only as long as they are reasonably needed for the report.

See the support page for the private reporting address and the information that should not be sent.

6. Updates

If the process changes, this notice will change too

This notice will be updated when the website, plugin data flow, support route or sales process changes in a way that affects personal information.
